A quote and some cute pics :)

Here's a quote from LDSNuggets, which is a really great thing to subscribe to. You get a little "nugget" maybe once every two weeks in your inbox. They're short and sweet, and they set the tone for the day. Sometimes they really resonate, like this one does for me.  What I love about being a Mormon is it's all about LOVE, it's never too late to partake of the good stuff, to improve or to strengthen your faith or your relationship with the savior!  This quote really hit home for me because being pregnant, I'm not able to take any anti-anxiety medication, and this is a real challenge sometimes.  Sometimes I'm just feeling too anxious to even go to church, which makes me feel pretty down. But this quote does give me a lift and reminds me of why I love my church, so I thought I'd share it!

"It is never too late to strengthen the foundation of faith. There is always time.  With faith in the savior, you can repent and plead forgiveness. There is someone you can forgive.  There is someone you can thank.  There is someone you can serve and lift. You can do it wherever you are, and however alone and deserted you may feel."  --Henry B. Eyring, Mountains of Faith, April 2012 General Conference

Here are a few cute pictures from the past few weeks :)

These are us at Mashamucket with Gramma Sandy.

That's Pa giving Mimi a toss!

Me waiting for the endocrinologist in my Israeli tichel!!! I'm getting pretty good at tying them. My AIC (a blood test that shows your long range sugar, it's a very accurate test for diabetics) was 5.7 today!!!  That is REALLY GOOD! Anything under 6.5 is considered normal :)

Here's what it looks like from the back :)

Maxwell reading to Mimi while she takes a tub :)

Mimi cuddled up to her Pa in the morning after a very long night of goofing around and sneaking around, including sneaking dry Nestle Quick in the middle of the night!!!! What a PIP!!!!

Tricks on the swings.

She's getting so big!

  2. Thanks and thanks! How do I do a link? The website was mytichels.com and also the queen of tichel tying is Rivka Malka, and she has a great website in general, Rivkamalka.com.

  3. I still can't find the tutorial... just highlight and paste it here. In a post you can type a word, highlight it, then at the top bar there is a link or chain button that you can put a link tied to a word. XOXO
