Do you Tray-Jay-Bay? We do!

Yesterday I posted a picture of Mimi, and maybe you noticed that she was wearing a bathing suit? That was because Max and Mimi planned what they called "Tray-Jay-Bay Night". The Tray was for Trail Mix, the Jay was for Jeopardy, and the Bay was for bathing suits. Their plan was to make a trail mix- it ended up consisting of cheese-its, goldfish (a little repetitive, I know), chocolate chips, pretzel sticks, and graham crackers- then lay some towels out on the floor and pretend to sunbathe in their bathing suits while watching Jeopardy (We watch Jeopardy a couple times a week over here. They think it's a big treat b/c we usually don't do TV in the evening, but for Jeopardy we make the exception).  Mimi got cold after a while so she put her school clothes back on over her bathing suit. Max just got snug underneath Bluey. So that's what these crazy pictures are, Tray-Jay-Bay Night :)

My Matilda :)

Mimi is very much the social butterfly. She has made quite the splash on the school bus. If I have to take her to school in the car she always protests and tells me "MOM! People are expecting me!" The kids on the bus have nicknamed Mimi "Matilda" because they think she looks just like the little girl in the movie. (LOVE that movie!). What do you think? Are they right???

I think they're on to something!

A little Nate wearing :)

I finally got myself a baby carrier. Quite handy for when you just have to multitask (OMGosh I hate multitasking, I even hate the word, but this is reality, folks!). We had a great last day of our unexpected February vacation, thanks to the BLIZZARD we got tons of days off, and the kids are just going back to school tomorrow! Judy came over and spent the whole day, we did a little baby carrier shopping and got out a bit in the world (a rarity these days, I'm mostly just hunkered down at home with Nate! It's a combination of new mama nesting and flu paranoia...), we had soup for supper and then spent the rest of the night working on some crafts.  Now all children are tucked in nice and snug and tomorrow it's back to business as usual. Well almost as usual: I will have the company of my very favorite niece, since Newtown schools are on vacation this week and her ma & pa are working. That means a visit to her auntie's for the day :)  That may make for more good blogging material, we shall see... :)

Just a batch of random silly pics!

Gramma has asked for more Nate pics, so here's what I've got, not just Nate though. Sorry about the blurriness, I think there's something wrong with my camera :(   But enjoy this silly batch of pics!

Happy Lovey Day!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxo

Maxwell, Mimi and I made some cute valentines for their classes, but because of the blizzard, school has been cancelled and they aren't going back until Wednesday! Hopefully they will still be able to give out their valentines upon their return...

I also have these valentines for Mimi and for Max, respectively, that I made for them, and now I must get some shut-eye!  At least until that little baby needs his mommy ;)

Happy Valentine's Day (and Happy Birthday Ashlee!)  xoxox

Snowly Cow!

We woke up to this scene in the morning. We knew it was going to be a lot of snow, but....

The cars...TWO cars, that is!

Guess what color our car is :)

We couldn't get out any of our doors, so we climbed out the window :)

Somebody started to snow blow the road in front of our house but gave up after a while...

Pa deserves a hot meal!

Standing in the middle of the road looking up...

And standing in the middle of the road looking down...

No mail today!

Coming home from our N&A visit...

It's 7:45 pm and still no plow on our road!

I couldn't find my camera so I took these pictures with Maxwell's camera (which is from Pepere and is ten times better than mine at least!!!). We found these pictures when we downloaded the snow pics :) HA!

Happy Snow Day! :)
